Welcome to Badasht.net!
The purpose of this website is to provide practical tools for enhancing the devotional and social experience of the Bahá'í community worldwide, through the integration of the arts at the grassroots level. We will consider the role of beauty and art in our spiritual life, as envisioned in the Bahá'í Writings and expressed in diverse ways by individual Bahá'ís everywhere. From downloadable resources and articles, to open forum discussions, we hope to assist in a global effort to further our use of the arts.
A letter from the International Teaching Centre states: "...the requirements of the time call on us to be more systematic in the use of the arts. They should not be considered simply an embellishment to our programs or an afterthought in our planning. Rather they must become an integral part of our teaching plans and community life..."

From poweful songs that anyone can sing, to selections of writings, stories and poetry, to simple and beautiful visual materials, the Empowerment Tools section is a utility belt of resources designed to assist individuals and communities integrate the arts into all their activities.
For example, in the Music area you will find sheet music, lyrics and even free video lessons so you can play the songs on guitar or piano... no more excuses!
